NGA.IP.0001 NGA Standardization Document – Implementation Profile for Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) and Geographic Tagged Image File Format (GeoTIFF)

Overview:

The NGA Implementation Profile for TIFF and GeoTIFF is a specification for the formatting of imagery and gridded data in TIFF format within the NSG and also provides guidelines for the addition of supplementary metadata supporting data discovery and retrieval. It is closely aligned

with the multinational Defence Geospatial Information Working Group (DGIWG) Implementation Profile for GeoTIFF, version 1.0.
